Competition Format
The UTSRI Case Competition followed a 72-hour format designed to challenge students’ critical thinking, research, and presentation skills. Participants were given a complex, real-world STEM case and had 72 hours to develop innovative solutions. Working in teams, students conducted research, analyzed data, and crafted structured responses, which they then presented to a panel of judges in a 10–minute pitch followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. This fast-paced format tested not only their academic abilities but also their teamwork, time management, and communication skills under pressure.
